One of my hobbies is kayaking. I used to do kanoeing during my secondary school studies. During my master studies for 6 months I was as a trainee in Basel in Switzerland (1999) where I joined the Novartis kayak club (Basel, CH). The club provided me with an excellent training on a white-water channel in Hueningen (France) and during weekends on any of the many swiss rivers. I can only recommend Moesa (WW4-5)+(WW2-3)+(WW2-1), Calancasca (WW4-5), Verzasca (WW5-6), also Saane (WW3-4), Simme (WW3-4), Kleine Emme (WW3), Vorder Rhein (WW2-3), Inn (WW3-5). The 4th week in July 1999 we made a 10 day trip to some rivers in the area of Briancon in southern France and after few years we had to return there again for kajaking in Briancon (2003).
Some years ago I bought a digital camera (Olympus Camedia 4040Z with super-bright lens f1.8-2.8 with underwater case PT-10; later C5050 model which has in theory exactly same optics but everbody says C4040Z was a lot better) and therefore I have lots of pictures now here :-)
